This may sound like an Opportunity Knocks facilitator’s opening remarks, but in fact it is not–it is the advice of another organization in Central Oregon that focuses on growth and financial acceleration of the local business community: Miller Ferrari Wealth Management.

They also attribute their success to their continued desire to immerse themselves in the local business community and offer help to emerging entrepreneurs and businesses where possible. This is where their partnership with Opportunity Knocks, a Central Oregon peer mentorship program for leaders and business owners, comes in.

They’re in the trenches with businesses every day, teaching and sharing ideas to foster growth and success,” Swanson noted when asked why they chose this partnership. “And, as those of us who live here know, there are so many resources at our footsteps to pull from; Opportunity Knocks is a place for that sort of collaboration.” Swanson continued, “We [as Central Oregonians] have an intelligent community of leaders and business owners that are focused on the future.”
