Rob Hambleton is the Branch Manager and Business Partner for BBSI of Central Oregon – an HR services company designed to help businesses with payroll, HR, Risk & Safety and Business Consulting Services.
Rob moved to Oregon in 2002 after a successful Fortune 500 career as a Finance Director for Ford, Kodak, and Dell. Rob was immediately immersed in several community and small business development efforts and in that same year he also started his training company, Soul Canyon Training & Development which has been putting on live and online training programs across the US and Canada for nearly two decades. In 2016, he partnered with BBSI to offer training courses to small business owners in key skill areas for owners and employees. Rob’s passion for small business and entrepreneurship comes initially from working in the family construction business while growing up. Rob also sees that small businesses form the backbone of our economy, but they need certain skills and resources if they are to be sustainable.
Rob has an MBA and undergraduate degrees in Management and Finance from the University of Utah and holds several training certifications in gamification and content development.
I am part Creative Director, Manager of Open Space Event Studio and work part time as a producer for The Call to Create Podcast, Patronage Films and Central District Investments, LLC. I am also an independent creative and board member with Desert Diamond Productions—a newly formed women led arts and entertainment nonprofit.
I moved to Bend from Southern California in 2006 with my husband. I'm a Mom to 3 young boys that keep me going. We are a family that enjoys the outdoors from skiing in
the winter to hiking in the summer and enjoying the high lakes. I have had a strong career in large box retail and small box for the last 18 years. I have a background in
operations and human resources.
I have been with Broken Top Brands since September 2021 working as the Wholesale Account Manager. My responsibilities are to build and maintain relationships with ourcustomers while meeting sales and profit goals. I also supervise sales strategies and collaborate with buyers to drive sales opportunities throughout the selling process.
As a fifth-generation Oregonian, I was fortunate to land back on home turf to help grow Algofy in Central Oregon following 3 years of development in Barcelona. I spend my working hours making sure our clients and team have the tools and support they need to actualize the opportunities that exist in digital marketing. Outside of work, you can find me on a trail, lake, or rock wall.
I am the Annual Fund Manager at The Environmental Center. I lead the fundraising team, write grants, coordinate donor cultivation plans with our Executive Director and Board, and manage the donor database. I also serve on our DEI committee, working to guide the organization toward more just, inclusive, and equitable practices. In my spare time I enjoy playing guitar and singing, spending time with my family, and outdoor activities like camping, fishing, biking, and rock climbing.
As of right now I am the Sales Manager at Ryan Walker State Farm. Later this year we have a second location opening. Once that happens I will manage our original office. I’ve only worked with Ryan for 2 years but it’s been off to the races from day one. In my free time my wife and I stay very busy doing our best to keep up with our two toddlers. We enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible whether that’s a day at the lake or a neighborhood bike ride.
