Ms. Uriel Fox is recently retired from a life long career as a registered dental hygienist. She practiced in California, Idaho, Canada, Washington, and Oregon where she also enjoyed the natural wonders that these areas offered in abundance. Ms. Fox is a Bend resident and is currently working on a project for mastectomy breast cancer survivors. She was inspired at the 2017 Bend Outdoor Worx pitch night to contact them about their business cohort for her start up company NEO'PROS, LLC.

Geoff Babb
Geoff Babb

Advenchairman of The Onward Project, LLC and the visionary of the AdvenChair, was an avid backpacker, climber, and mountain biker when his access to the outdoors was interrupted by a near-fatal brain-stem stroke in 2005. Not one to be denied, Geoff and his family and friends have worked since his release from the hospital to create a wheelchair that can travel over the scenic but rugged terrain near his home in the mountain town of Bend, Oregon.

I am COO of Spurcycle, a company co-founded in San Francisco with my brother in 2012 but built over decades in the bicycle industry—going all the way back to elementary days working after school in our family bike shop in Massachusetts. Moved to Bend toward the end of 2018 after over 12 years in the Bay Area, trading a bit of tech energy for more open fields of play. Now embracing the boundless recreation of central Oregon while we work to grow our business, from mountain trail and gravel road across every commute in between.

I am the co-owner of Food For the Sole, in partnership with my son. I moved to Bend 23 years ago, and a love of the forest and hiking plus a belief that people should be able to eat well, anytime and anyplace led me to build a company offering great tasting wholesome meals for all outdoor adventurers. Prior to launching the business in 2018, I spent nearly 20 years at the local community college in administration in a variety of capacities and, as an avid life-long learner, appreciated the numerous educational opportunities afforded by that organization.
