For the past 14 years, Valerie has overseen the marketing for Brooks Resources, one of the region’s oldest and most respected real estate development companies. In her role as the Director of Marketing, she manages multiple strategic marketing plans and day-to-day tactics including events, campaigns, digital marketing and PR. In addition to volunteering for OK, Valerie is a board member of the Family Access Network Foundation Board and serves as the administrator for Building a Better Bend.
Georell Bracelin helps businesses brand, plan, market and promote. A Central Oregonian for nearly 20 years, she is the owner and marketing strategist behind Gb2 Agency, a full-service advertising agency. Georell has worked over the years with many small and large Central Oregon businesses and has launched several businesses along the way, including a successful snowboard brand for female riders. Currently, she calls on these years of experience and adventure to help her put together irresistible and creative marketing strategies and campaigns for her clients.
I grew up in Portland,OR and let Snowboarding dictate my life for the better part of 20 years. I have lived in Bend since 2007 where I atteneded OSU Cascades and have found myself professionally through the ski/snb retail industry, as a media producer (photographer, videographer, editor), a special project assistant at Visit Bend where I focused on user surveys and analytical data based research and since 2010 I have been the Brand Manager at BlackStrap Industries. I have 2 shred dogs that test gear for Ruffwear, an amazing wife who is a horticulturist & bee keeper and a 2.5 year old daughter named Hazel who (Coincidentally) wants to snowboard, ski and ride bikes when she grows up.
Kelly Rogers is the Strategic Content Marketing Manager at Laird Superfood leading marketing content strategy and brand messaging implementation across all platforms and is primarily responsible for brand voice and tone, product launch messaging, content calendar, brand storytelling, and PR. She has been a marketing professional for 14 years for a wide range of business types from fashion to manufacturing to media. She considers marketing the best possible way to involve people in your brand and take them on a journey by providing a unique experience.
A Bend native, Jenny was raised to love and appreciate the outdoors and live an active lifestyle. After a brief career in apparel marketing, she found her niche in healthcare and has worked with a number of diverse organizations, including large nonprofit healthcare systems and small to midsize private physician practices over the course of the last 20 years. She is passionate about using her marketing skills and experience in an industry that helps people. As Director of Marketing and Business Development at The Center Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care she feels fortunate to be able to use her expertise working for an organization that specializes in helping active Central Oregonians get back to what they love doing after an injury.
After spending nearly a decade marketing hotels, resorts, and the travel experience; I chose to change industries to focus on another area of passion for me - active outdoor lifestyles. I joined the Cairn team in September 2015, and have had the opportunity to be an integral part of establishing the brand voice, developing new marketing channels, and driving growth. Because Cairn is a young company, it requires me to be involved in all aspects of marketing, drawing on my previous experience in launching new resorts, as well as taking on new channels in the ever-changing world of digital marketing.

Experience spans both agency and brand side work in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver BC, Seattle, Portland and now Bend. Strategic C-Level leadership has led brands from inception through launch for notables like: Johnson & Johnson's Winne the Pooh & Pals Bath Time Buddies, Nordstrom's NOL Private Label Brand, AT&T - PocketNet Phone, Starbuck's Frappuccino, Rembrandt Oral Care Products, Microsoft, Xbox, Nike, adidas, LinkedIn and Lora DiCarlo along with a wide range of startups - all with a passion for best in class category creation & disruption.
I spent 12 years at BendBroadband as an information Services developer, later moving on to Marketing Developer. In 2015 I began work as the Digital Marketing and eCommerce Specialist for Ruffwear and recently promoted to eCommerce Manager. After making a couple guest appearances, i'm glad to be a part of the team.
