Diane Murry

Diane is an experienced leadership coach and executive director with a demonstrated history of working in both the public and private sector. She is a strong community and social services professional skilled in executive leadership, operations, human resources, team building, and public speaking. Diane has been described as a dynamic and insightful leadership coach and speaker who uses genuineness, humor, and challenging candor to inspire individuals and organizations to engage in meaningful work. Diane focuses on uncovering fundamental issues impacting performance, then creates practical and results-oriented solutions that meet the unique needs of the leader, team, and organization.

Katrina Van Dis
Katrina Van Dis

Katrina grew up on a cherry farm in Eastern Oregon. She is the Founder of the regional nonprofit, High Desert Food & Farm Alliance, and co-Founder of the state-wide nonprofit, Oregon Community Food Systems Network. She is now the Owner of Ensoterra, a consulting business which supports resilient and sustainable natural systems for individuals and rural communities.

Derek Abbey
Derek Abbey

Derek spent 23 years in the United States Marine Corps, serving as an enlisted Marine and an officer, both on the ground and in the air. This included serving as an F/A-18 aviator and in the special operations community. He has been a member of Project Recover (previously the BentProp Project) for more than 15 years and currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer. He studied history at Oregon State University for his undergraduate education. He holds an M.A. in Higher Education Leadership and a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego. Additionally, he holds a credential from Stanford University in Non-Profit Executive Leadership and is a 2019 President George W. Bush Scholar. His research interests and focuses include adult development, veterans accessing higher education, the impact of structure and stratification on leadership practices, and more. He spends his spare time in the outdoors, reading, and staying active. Some of his goals include running a marathon in every state and visiting every National Park.

I am the Executive Director of Central Oregon Trail Alliance (COTA), a regional nonprofit with a mission to develop, protect, and enhance the Central Oregon mountain bike experience through trail stewardship, advocacy, collaboration, and education. I have a t-shirt that says "Ask me about trails" because all I talk about is trails! When I'm not working you can find me...you guessed it...out on a trail!

I am the Executive Director of Abilitree. I have lived in Bend Oregon since July 2022. I have a passion for helping people. My passion is fueled daily at Abilitree as we work to be a resource for all people in need. Helping others to live their best life while navigating difficult situations and systems. I value creative solutions, dreaming big, personal and professional integrity and transparency. My goal is to impact as many lives as I can during my time on earth and I beyond grateful to be in a position to work towards that goal daily.

Brian has lived in Central Oregon since the year 2000 and loves to ride bicycles and work with the community. Working for Commute Options since 2008, Brian has learned many techniques for outreaching and engaging community in Central Oregon. Brian works with Oregon Safe Routes to School, ODOT, City of Bend, City of Redmond. He is passionate about creative change and promoting community health, active transportation and a vibrant local economy.
