My work as an Independent Educational Consultant began when I was a college counselor at a large urban public high school; I was approached by a parent 15 years ago to work with students privately; and clients began to appear with little effort on my part. After years of working with students and families privately in college admissions counseling, I decided to give a name to my company and founded La Duke College Counseling in 2006. In addition to my Master's Degree in School Counseling and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential, I am also a Certified Educational Planner specializing in college advising, and am currently completing my Certificate in College Counseling through UCLA. I recently relocated to Bend, Oregon to be closer to family and have recently launched my new website: www.ladukecollegecounseling.com.
