Chris Kratsch is the founder of The Robert Axle Project. A bicycle component and accessory manufacturer producing solutions which inspire travelers, families and commuters to use their modern bikes for local adventures or trips around the world. His background is in account management, forecasting and sales experience in the outdoor industry with Metolius Climbing additional experience in manufacturing while at Outback Manufacturing.
Dave is the paddle designer and a co-owner of Kialoa. A long time outrigger paddler, he learned his craft, in a makeshift shop located on the back porch of his parents’ home in Kailua, Hawaii. Dave and Meg Chun moved Kialoa to Bend, Oregon, in 1992, where they manufacture products for paddlers.
In 2013, Jen turned her passion of making jewelry into a business, Jen Newton Jewelry. Her career began in one of the first tech start-ups in Bend: Orcom Solutions (utility billing software). She held numerous positions over the years, primarily focused on Account and Process Management, including Account Executive/ Manager, Client Operations Manager, Business Services Manager, Software Support Team Lead and Quality Assurance.
Greg is the owner of Magic Cycle Werks – Handcrafted Custom Bicycles
Josh is the owner of The Gear Fix.
Chez moved to Bend to do more of what she loves - spend time outdoors, play with wildflowers, and run Gobi Gear, her outdoor gear company. In addition to being an accomplished wildlife biologist and world traveler, Chez is an entrepreneur at heart and loves all aspects of starting and growing businesses. She loves challenges and asks, "well why not?" when it seems something may not be possible.

30 years self-employed, serial entrepreneur. Building contractor, home inspection service (franchise, top ranked rural franchise in the franchise network multiple times), now apparel invention, manufacture, and sales (6 years) at SweatHawg Headwear.
Sally Diener is an industrial designer and the founder of Open Design LLC. She has worked in fields ranging from the medical industry to home appliances, with a focus on user centered design. In 2015 she started her freelance design business, and in 2017 she started selling her first products at Fine Fettl.
Niki is the Founder at HYDAWAY™ - HydawayBottle.com. More than an inventor, Niki Singlaub is a ‘product guy’ and lives for designing, developing, building, and launching new products into the world. Niki came up with the Hydaway concept while traveling as a freelance product developer. Niki’s expertise stems from almost twenty years in design, development, and management of consumer products in multiple industries. His background in engineering and business has prepared him to problem solve at all stages of the product launch process. On most days you can find Niki in and around the high desert of Bend, Oregon testing gear, brainstorming ideas, and taking his family beyond their comfort level.
