After completing Small Business Management Year 1 and 2 at COCC, I wanted to continue my personal and professional growth. I found Opportunity Knocks fulfills that need. It’s been the perfect transition. Being able to discuss my business with experts in a confidential manner has been priceless. It’s like having an experienced board of directors. We’ve been in business 17 years in La Pine and have had the pleasure of employing people in our community during that time. I’ve been married to my husband Tony for 27 years, and we have an amazing 22 year old son, Mike. We live in rural Deschutes county on a small farm keeping us busy when we aren’t working.
I have been and Insurance and retirement advisor for the last 16 years with COUNTRY Financial and have owned my own agency for 13 of those 16 years. My biggest joy is owning my own business, being an employer of full time jobs in Southern Deschutes Co., and helping those that I come into contact with. My time away from work seems to be chasing my 4 kids around the state as they participate in school and activities, as well as having time with my wife of 23 years.
