New OK teams in the works

Many thanks to the Ford Family Foundation for funding us to start a new South Deschutes County OK team! This team is open to business owners and community leaders in La Pine, Sun River and South Deschutes County.

Rich Lyon, owner of Bend Commercial Glass and OK Board Member, is spearheading the effort to start a new OK construction industry team. Do you know anyone in the construction industry, especially subcontractors, who might benefit from being on an OK team with others in the industry? If so, please send them our way!

Please share our email: info@opp-knocks.org and phone 541-588-2719 with anyone you think might be interested in joining OK.

Civic Equity Project

Bend 2030 and Opportunity Knocks are partnering in the newly-launched Civic Equity Project, a two-year program supporting under-represented organizations to participate in civic dialogue and decision-making in Bend. This project is funded by the Meyer Memorial Trust, a Portland-based foundation supporting equity-advancement projects in Oregon. Learn more here. We’re thrilled to welcome this cohort of community leaders into OK!
